Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies
  • Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using VueJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, BlueprintJS, TailwindCSS, and/or Bootstrap
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for internal applications and third-party integrations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows and build scalable technical solutions
  • Develop reusable frontend components and scalable backend architectures following best practices
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Integrate and maintain Salesforce integrations and data synchronization workflows
  • Integrate third-party services and payment gateways (Stripe, Authorize.net)
  • Build secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access systems
  • Implement automated testing/QA including Cypress
  • Optimize for scalability, reliability, performance, and security
  • Work with AWS (EC2, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, S3) and develop CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvements
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare/data security standards including HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11
  • Support ETL/data processing workflows involving clinical/healthcare datasets
Qualifications (Required):
  • 4+ years as a Full Stack Developer
  • Strong Ruby/Rails; frontend with VueJS, ReactJS, TypeScript
  • Experience with BlueprintJS, TailwindCSS, and/or Bootstrap
  • REST/GraphQL development; GraphiQL/API debugging
  • PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB)
  • Familiarity with Nuxt/Next.js or similar; Cypress testing
  • Salesforce API integration; Stripe/Authorize.net
  • Git and CI/CD; familiarity with AWS deployment
  • Strong problem-solving, independent/collaborative work, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred:
  • Pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare experience; clinical systems/ETL knowledge
  • Enterprise SaaS/workflow automation; Docker/Kubernetes/serverless
  • Understanding compliance/data security; scalable, secure cloud-native app design
