Description
  • Creating intuitive graphical user interfaces, including navigational menus, dashboards, and head-up displays (HUDs) that guide users through training scenarios for products used in training of United States service members
  • Working with project resources such as user interface, media files, and other assets
  • Debugging issues within game assets in terms of performance
  • Utilizing familiarity with game design and user interface systems
  • Utilizing effective communication through verbal and written methods
  • Working closely with colleagues from multiple technical disciplines in a team environment to understand system requirements, functions, and interfaces, while also able to work independently on assigned tasking
  • Interfacing with external vendors and Government customers
  • Working across multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline and two years of experience or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Experience in the following graphic design tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and/or Substance 3D Painter, Autodesk Maya and/or Autodesk 3ds Max
  • User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) expertise
  • Interpersonal skills that augment performance within a team environmentย

  • Interaction design, microinteractions, animation and responsive layouts
  • Ability to present and defend design decisions with data and rationale
