Awaken Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated volunteer Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. The Email Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in expanding our reach into the B2B sector, seeking corporate sponsorships, engaging with our community, and promoting our programs and events through effective email campaigns.

About the Position (Essential Duties):

  • Designing and implementing email marketing campaigns to promote our B2B programming, workshops, and presentations.
  • Developing engaging content for email marketing campaigns, newsletters, announcements, and promotional materials.
  • Creating segmented email lists to ensure targeted communication with different audience groups.
  • Analyzing email campaign performance metrics and optimizing strategies for increased open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to align email marketing efforts with overall organizational goals and branding guidelines.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in email marketing.

About You:

  • Previous experience (either professional or volunteer) in email marketing.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (we currently use MonkeyPod).
  • Knowledge of email marketing analytics and metrics, with the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in designing visually appealing email templates and graphics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Experience with graphic design and Canva to create graphics a plus.
  • Passionate about mindfulness, mental health, and meditation.
