Fall Intern:

Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, IL, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for creative college students to gain experience with producing daily television and hands on responsibilities. All interns will receive an hourly rate of pay; Weigel Broadcasting co. does not subsidize housing.


About the Role:

· Work alongside a dynamic production staff

· Gain hands on exposure to both studio and field production

· Take part in crafting stories for air from research to completion


What You’ll Do

· Review research for daily stories and long-term projects

· Assist in coordinating and organizing assets for editors and graphic artists

· Support essential administrative tasks to aid in running our 1-hour program on the air

· Watch and evaluate story board edits for editors

· Other duties, as assigned


What You’ll Bring

· Availability to commit 20 hours per week to the internship

· Flexible schedule to meet the demands and rigorous demands of a daily one-hour television program

· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program

· Highly organized and have a passion for history, pop culture, and news
