Account Manager
Founded in 1919 as Phototype and recently rebranded as the Olberding Brand Family, we are a family company focused on delivering the highest quality and client service in the graphics design, management and printing industry. We Design, Optimize and Protect Brands. Our clients are primarily consumer products companies and printers and we help them by delivering a broad range of services from brand strategy and packaging design, to adaptive design across various print and digital platforms, all the way to color management and the production of printing plates. With our world headquarters located in Cincinnati, we have over 450 employees throughout the United States and offices in Europe and Asia.
The Account Manager serves as an advocate for our client’s brands and must ensure that brand equity is maintained throughout all pieces of art and must be able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage the status and execution of each project
  • Coordinate planning, development and documentation to ensure timely deliverables and job/project success and quality
  • Gather all information and materials needed to kick off a project
  • Enter all written communication into the order entry system
  • Review checklists to ensure all pieces or materials are validated prior to project kickoff
  • Own confirmation of print feasibility for designs
  • Champion the communication of color development of master images, color standards and brand intent
  • Possesses knowledge of consumer products packaging, creative design, production artwork process and print production a plus
Qualifications Include:
  • 5+ years experience in graphic design or printing work preferred
  • Degree in Business or Graphics Communication – or equivalent experience
  • Proficient use of Apple operating systems (Office, Excel, FileMaker Pro) and the Adobe Suite
  • Basic knowledge of color separation, management and printing processes (flexographic, rotogravure, offset, digital)
  • Experience in print production, pre-press and printing processes
  • General knowledge of color management, inks and packaging substrates
