Position Overview

Insurance Navy is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house marketing team. This role is responsible for creating compelling visual content that supports brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and overall business growth.

The ideal candidate has strong design fundamentals, excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, and experience developing both digital and print marketing materials. This position also requires the ability to design high-converting website and landing page layouts that balance aesthetics with performance.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Chicago, IL. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Advertising Design

  • Design creative assets for social media campaigns, digital advertising, and promotional initiatives.
  • Create graphics for Google Ads, Facebook Ads, display advertising, and other paid media channels.
  • Design email marketing graphics, website banners, and landing page visuals.
  • Produce print materials including flyers, brochures, posters, signage, vehicle wraps, and other branded collateral.

Website & Landing Page Design

  • Design high-fidelity website and landing page mockups for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Create mobile-first layouts optimized for user engagement and conversion.
  • Apply visual hierarchy principles to emphasize key actions such as quote requests, phone calls, and lead submissions.
  • Develop A/B testing concepts and design variations to improve conversion rates.

Brand & Creative Support

  • Maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members on campaign concepts and creative strategies.
  • Organize, prepare, and export production-ready design files for internal teams and external vendors.
  • Stay current on industry trends, design techniques, and emerging creative tools.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating advertising, marketing, and brand design work.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of typography, spacing, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and web design best practices.
  • Experience creating website or landing page mockups with a focus on usability and mobile responsiveness.

Preferred

  • Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design and prototyping tools.
  • Familiarity with Canva and other rapid-content creation platforms.
  • Understanding of conversion-focused design and marketing performance metrics.
  • Experience designing for paid advertising campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
