Job description

Job Purpose Responsible for creating graphics files using NedGraphics Texcelle for use on CMC Sports Colorpoint tufting machine. This will include designing or converting customer logos or designs into the graphic files suitable for the tufting machine format. Quality components are also included to ensure accuracy in the finished product.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Receive patterns via various formats (shop drawings), and convert to machine file using the NedGraphics Texcelle software.

•Manage files on a dedicated laptop that includes job specific specific email, and network drives for files.

•Manage project status files for reference as needed. Through completion

•Manage files for process flow to provide required information through the process

•Patterns will be required to maintain the provided/ approved dimensions from the customer

•Any variation will require approval from the customer•Utilize mathematical conversions of pixels/ inches for managing scales and propermeasurements of designs

•Pattern colors and configuration will be dependent on best fit for the equipment, andutilize a standard color palette offering as established by product management

.•Follow designs through manufacturing to ensure accuracy based on submitted (customer approved) and converted designs

•Provide measurement data from Texcelle to be used by QC for confirmation after finishing

•This will require being active on the plant floor for testing and confirmation of design accuracy

•Understand the manufacturing process of the Sports Colorpoint machine and downstream to qualify details of specific graphics expectations

•Color limits, design size limits, construction concerns

•Provide custom designs as needed as requested. Potentially on both sports and landscape businesses
 

•Education: HS, GED minimum.

•Experience: Minimum 2 years in use of pattern design software or similar

•Courses/Certifications/Training: Excel, NedGraphics Texcelle or other version preferred

•Good verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external discussions

•Characteristics required: Must be able to work independently as well as be able to communicatewith both graphics providers (Astroturf) and manufacturing

•Travel: Minimal. Potential jobsite visits for education on process
