Position Summary/Job Duties:
What You'll Do
Marketing Strategy
-Support in planning and executing strategic, seasonal, and mission-driven campaigns across social, email, and influencer channels
-Develop and track campaign goals; help analyze performance and offer recommendations to improve results
-Assist with planning marketing initiatives that align with health observances, gifting trends, and education moments
Email Marketing & Copywriting
-Help draft email subject lines, preview text, and body copy with high open-rate potential
-Assist in setting up and organizing campaigns in Klaviyo (or similar)
-Contribute ideas to monthly email themes, promotions, and educational series
Social Media Copywriting
-Write witty, warm, and engaging scripts, captions, and post that reflect the Nerdbugs brand voice
-Translate complex health concepts into fun engaging storytelling
-Collaborate with the team on hooks, story structure, and captioning for maximum impact and reach
Brand Voice & Visual Consistency
-Embody the Nerdbugs tone: funny, relatable, inclusive, trending, and smart
-Ensure all videos, voiceovers, and graphics align with the visual and emotional tone of the brand
-Maintain consistency in styling, lighting, and personality-even when filming at home or on-the-go
Design & Creative Direction
-Support designing email layouts, digital assets, social media graphics, and brand visuals that are consistent, playful, and on brand
-Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to design creative elements for website pages, social campaigns, and product assets
-Work cross-functionally to translate educational ideas and product features into scroll-stopping visual storytelling
-Ensure all designs align with Nerdbugs' brand tone-approachable, inclusive, and rooted in fun
Cross-Team Collaboration
-Work closely with leadership and the education, social media, and ops teams to align on timelines, strategy, and visual direction
-Assist with creative reviews and help guide brand consistency across platforms and campaigns
-Help manage marketing timelines, calendars, and campaign assets in Monday CRM or similar tools
-Research relevant awareness campaigns, holidays, and cultural trends for alignment
-Assist with reporting metrics for email, social media, marketing, and community engagement
-Support testing of visuals and content to optimize performance across email and social channels
Creative B2B Marketing & Partnerships
-Collaborate on B2B marketing strategies for healthcare, education (hospitals, schools, retailers, and museums)
-Identify media opportunities and press moments to build brand visibility
-Support influencer and ambassador outreach and communication
