OVERVIEW

Join our team as a Graphic Designer!

We are looking for this person to join our team in one of our 8 office locations (Maumee, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Peachtree City, GA; Overland Park, KS; Edina, MN; Raleigh, NC; Westminster, CO). The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling materials that support the company's brand, marketing initiatives, and communication goals. This role works closely with the marketing team, technical staff, subject-matter experts, and various other departments to design graphics, marketing campaigns, and collateral materials that clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts to internal and external audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Proposal & Pursuit Support

  • Design visually compelling proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and pursuit materials that align with brand standards.
  • Create graphics, diagrams, and visual storytelling elements that explain engineering services, processes, and project approaches.
  • Work closely with proposal writers, project managers, and subject-matter experts to turn technical information into accessible, professional layouts.
  • Format and refine proposal documents in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Develop custom templates, cover designs, infographics, and project sheets that enhance the firm's competitive positioning.

Branding & Marketing Design

  • Produce digital and print marketing materials including brochures, one-pagers, email graphics, trade show displays, posters, and social media assets.
  • Ensure consistent brand presence across all materials and internal teams.
  • Update and maintain the library of brand assets, corporate imagery, and design templates.
  • Support internal communications with presentation decks, program logos, and event collateral.

Collaboration & Project Management

  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and automation teams to understand projects and gather accurate information.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Work within established brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative ideas.
  • Assist with administrative design tasks such as file organization, template updates, and content formatting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of graphic design experience (experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industry preferred but not required).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for proposal environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating layout design, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into simple, clean visuals.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work on multiple proposals and marketing projects simultaneously with quick turnaround times.
  • May require travel, both locally and overnight, approximately 10-15%.

We offer market-competitive compensation for a Graphic Designer with a base range of $48,000to $60,000 annually, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
