Job description

GRAPHIC DESIGNER JOB SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer is responsible for providing support to the Marketing Team by (1) developing and maintaining brand identity across digital and print platforms, (2) collaborating with the Midtown Marketing Manager and venue management teams to execute brand initiatives and campaigns, (3) formatting graphics and advertisements for digital, print and social media platforms and (4) creating merchandise and apparel design.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the CEO and General Managers on all graphic design duties and logo designs while working under the direct supervision of the Marketing Manager
  • Develop advertising concepts and layouts for marketing campaigns
  • Format graphics and advertisements for digital, print and social media platforms
  • Create and edit menus, table tents, flyers, posters and TV screen graphics for Midtown venues
  • Create merchandise and apparel design under the direction of the Midtown Marketing Manager and venue management team
  • Create large-scale and small-scale signage and vinyl graphics for the Midtown venues under the direction of the Midtown Marketing Manager and venue management team
  • Develop collateral, signage and TV screens for private events
  • Maintain and evolve brand standards to ensure consistency across all locations and platforms

GRAPHIC DESIGNER SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. Bridge)
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color and visual hierarchy
  • Experience designing digital and print marketing materials (social media graphics, posters, menus, event flyers etc.)
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple concepts and marketing materials
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects on deadlines
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in print design and graphic work

Age

Must be at least 18 to meet minimum age requirement of the State of Tennessee

Licenses or Certificates

Graphic design related licenses or certificates preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
  • Must be able to work and move quickly in a tight-space environment in a safe manner without disrupting other employees
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

COMPENSATION:  $55,000 - $70,000 PER YEAR, BENEFIT PACKAGE, PAID PARKING, PAID VACATION AND CELL PHONE REIMBURSEMENT
