Position Title: Graphic Designer
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an immediate, high-priority contract opportunity for a Graphic Designer Contractor for our client in Union City, CA.
Job Description:
  • Supports the marketing team in producing compelling visual content across both print and digital media
  • Assists with overflow design work and contributes to multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Ensures strict brand consistency across product marketing, corporate materials, tradeshows, and social media platforms
  • Maintains and organizes design assets, project files, and documentation in alignment with FDA online marketing guidelines, GMP, and ISO 13485 processes
  • Applies corporate design standards to effectively prepare charts, graphs, and visual tools that convey technical and product information

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in updating and redesigning marketing collateral based on team requests
  • Support design projects from concept through production and distribution across digital, print, and video platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop graphics for social media, online applications, events, and tradeshows
  • Edit photos, resize assets, and repurpose existing designs as needed
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and visual tools to clearly convey technical or product information
  • Maintain and organize design assets, project files, and technical documentation
  • Ensure all created materials comply with internal Quality System policies, FDA marketing guidelines, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards
  • Maintain clear verbal and written communication while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field with 2+ years of graphic or digital design experience (corporate experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Background in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry preferred, including familiarity with regulatory requirements for marketing materials
  • Hands-on experience managing design projects from concept to production across both print and digital media
  • Strong creative thinking and design skills with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with project collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello) is a plus
  • Strong ability to express technical and design concepts clearly through written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to start immediately and work on-site in Union City 4 days per week
