Job description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Proposal Design Specialist to join the marketing team of an established, multiโ€‘disciplinary professional services firm. This role combines graphic design, proposal development, and marketing coordination, supporting the firm's business development efforts through the creation of compelling, visually engaging, and client-focused materials.


Working closely with project teams, leadership, and the Director of Marketing, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping the firm pursue new opportunities, elevate its visual communications, and maintain a consistent and professional brand presence. This position offers the opportunity to contribute both creatively and strategically within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, coordination, and design of high-quality RFP responses, proposals, award submissions, and interview presentations.
  • Collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders to gather information and develop compelling pursuit materials.
  • Design and produce project reports, presentations, and supporting documentation, including graphic layouts and text formatting.
  • Develop and maintain a variety of marketing collateral, including brochures, project sheets, advertisements, publications, resumes, presentations, internal communications, and digital content.
  • Maintain and update project, marketing, and proposal databases to support business development initiatives.
  • Research clients, market sectors, competitors, and industry trends to support pursuit strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute new ideas and creative approaches to strengthen the firm's visual communications and marketing efforts.
  • Provide general marketing, coordination, and administrative support as required.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Digital Design, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
  • Demonstrated graphic design experience supported by a professional portfolio.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Experience

  • Experience designing proposals, presentations, publications, reports, or other multi-page documents.
  • Previous experience supporting business development, marketing, or proposal functions within a professional services environment.
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or design industries is considered a strong asset.
