The American Culinary Federation (ACF) is seeking a creative and highly motivated Junior Graphic Designer to help tell the story of the chefs, students and culinary professionals who make up our national community.


This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable designing compelling visual content and managing engaging social media channels. The position blends graphic design and digital storytelling, helping bring the ACF brand to life across social platforms, marketing materials, and digital campaigns.

POSITION TITLE: Junior Graphic Designer
REPORTS TO: Director of Communications
DIRECT REPORTS: None
STATUS: Exempt
LOCATION: Hybrid Jacksonville, FL


Key Responsibilities


Graphic Design & Creative Production
Design social media graphics, promotional materials and digital marketing assets
Create branded visuals for events, webinars, educational programs, and membership campaigns
Assist in producing marketing collateral including email graphics, digital flyers, presentation materials, web graphics and interactive forms
Maintain brand consistency across visual content and marketing materials
Enforces brand guidelines to ensure correct implementation among all parties.
Collaborate with the communications team on creative concepts and campaign development
Other duties as assigned


Content & Campaign Support
Support marketing campaigns promoting ACF programs, events, certifications and membership initiatives
Work closely with internal teams to highlight member achievements, competitions and culinary initiatives
Assist in capturing and producing content at ACF events and industry gatherings when needed


Qualifications
25 years of experience in graphic design or a related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong visual storytelling skills and an eye for design
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for food, hospitality or culinary culture is highly preferred


Preferred Skills
Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools
Photography or basic video editing skills
Experience working with nonprofits, associations, or membership organizations
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and content management systems
