Description

Beveridge & Diamond (B&D), the foremost national corporate environmental law firm, seeks a talented Marketing Graphics & Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Marketing Graphics & Communications Assistant is responsible for creating and updating marketing collateral, including graphics, brochures, proposal templates, and PowerPoint presentations. They also provide essential support to our Marketing & Communications Manager, helping to publish and distribute thought leadership.

We combine the sophistication and reach of larger firms with the focus and agility of a boutique, counseling the world's largest companies, industry associations, and municipalities on complex and rapidly evolving environmental issues.


This role can be based in any of our seven office locations: Washington, DC; Austin, TX; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.


Responsibilities

Polish PowerPoints for external events, speaking engagements, and occasional client-facing work.

Create, update, and maintain marketing collateral (practice brochures, infographics, advanced SmartArt) in Word, Canva, and InDesign.

Maintain the firm's image library of licensed stock photos and lawyer headshots.

Coordinate lawyer photoshoots with the photographer.ย 

Coordinate sponsorship deliverables, including ads and attorney bios.

Oversee ordering and production of business cards and other stationary, including holiday cards.

Assist with news alert production, media mention posts, other website updates, and social media sharing.

Help maintain distribution lists in InterAction.

Prepare emails for our distribution lists in our email marketing software (Vuture).

Create proposal and pitch document shells and team slides.

Track firm industry association memberships.ย 

Polish the Marketing Department's quarterly analytics report in PowerPoint.

Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Graphics, and/or Communications

Fluency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint

Fluency in Canva, strong experience with Adobe InDesign

Familiarity with Vuture or comparable email marketing software

Familiarity with WordPress or comparable CMS

Familiarity with LinkedIn

Ability to work quickly and pivot under tight deadlines while maintaining quality work product

Ability to work effectively with lawyers and staff firmwide

Willingness to work overtime during busy periods (e.g., to assist with a late-breaking news alert)

College degree or equivalent marketing experience


Work Environment

Hybrid model with a minimum of three in-office days per week. Some travel may be required for training and meetings.


Compensation

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
