What is graphic communications management?

Graphic Communications Management is a field focused on the business, technology, and processes involved in producing and managing visual communications, such as printed materials and digital media. Professionals in this area oversee the planning, design, production, and distribution of graphic products, often working with clients, designers, and production teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. They combine knowledge of print and digital technologies with business and project management skills to meet client needs and industry standards.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in graphic communications management, and why are they important?

To excel in Graphic Communications Management, a strong grasp of print and digital production processes, project management, and a relevant degree or diploma are essential. Familiarity with industry-standard design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite), print management systems, and color management tools is typically required.
