Job description

Turner's Outdoorsman is searching for a Graphic Designer Associate to join the team! The Turner’s Outdoorsman Graphic Designer Associate is responsible for preparing advertisements, signage and miscellaneous projects before going to print and for digital publication on all platforms. This is an on-site/ in office position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • In-house graphic designer assists with creating layouts for both printed and digital publication
  • Provides creative solutions to design challenges
  • Ensures layout accuracy prior to emailing proofs
  • Communicates professionally with corporate clients via phone and email to finalize text layouts
  • Collaborates with management in a fast-paced environment to prioritize and proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Works on weekly projects and finishes on time to meet deadlines
  • Create supportive materials needed for events company wide.
  • Sends out printed packets of signage for stores

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills In English
  • High school graduate (or GED) required, college graduates preferred
  • 3+ years of strong graphic design experience
  • Marketing experience or college degree in marketing is a plus
  • Macintosh experience
  • Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Candidate should be proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop a plus
  • Knowledge of program integration is a plus
  • Professional, intelligent, organized, proactive, efficient
  • Must learn quickly, be a team player, and have an outstanding work ethic
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in all situations
  • Ability to stay on task (no personal texting, emails, or web surfing)
  • Must be a fast learner with attention to detail, who is well organized and able to multi-task.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand, sit for long periods of time using the computer, bend and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shift
  • Must be able to walk up & down stairs multiple times daily

HOURS

  • Hours-Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm Occasional overtime
