Granite/Quartz Templater Specialist

Nampa Floors and Interiors

Job Location: Nampa, Idaho


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Granite and Quartz Templater Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solid surface laser templating, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work closely with contractors, clients, fabricators and installers. This position involves measuring, creating templates, and ensuring accurate execution of template files.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Templater or in a similar role within the stone or countertop industry.
  • Proficiency in using LT-2D3D laser templater and CAD software.
  • Installation experience is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site measurements and assessments to create accurate templates for granite and quartz installations.
  • Utilize specialized templating equipment and software to produce precise templates for stone surfaces.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors and project managers to understand design specifications and requirements.
  • Analyze project blueprints and drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and customer expectations.
  • Communicate any potential issues or discrepancies to coordinator or management in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all templates are produced accurately and delivered to the fabrication team for processing.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, technology, and installation techniques to continually improve templating processes.
  • Drive company vehicle to jobsites
