About This Role

We are a respected and growing remodeling company in Northern Nevada, and we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Installation Helper to join our team! As an Installation Helper, you will have the opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up and grow into a leadership role.

This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn the trade with a long-term goal of running our Granite Fabrication Department.

We offer a paid internship with hands-on training, a clear path to a full-time position with advancement opportunities, direct mentorship from experienced fabricators and installers, and a real opportunity to take over and lead the granite fabrication department.


What You'll Do

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Following company policy and industry standards for successful installations.
  • Working effectively with warehouse, sales consultants, management, and fellow installers.
  • Tracking time digitally.
  • Working in a safe manner and communicating concerns with appropriate team members.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Assisting lead installers with fabrication, delivery, and installation of stone countertops and other surfaces.
  • Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
  • Learning fabrication techniques, including cutting, edging, and polishing stone.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and workspaces.
  • Eventually taking on more responsibility in the shop, with mentorship to prepare for a leadership role.

Requirements

The requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Having a valid driver's license and a working vehicle suitable for product delivery and traveling when required.
  • Having the tools necessary for the trade, although most are provided for this department.
  • Being willing to relocate if necessary to Winnemucca, NV.
  • Being a hands-on, mechanically inclined person with a strong work ethic.
  • Being willing to learn the trade and take on physical tasks.
  • Having attention to detail and pride in quality work.
