Job Summary:

Each Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the activities and performance of all these positions during his or her shift and both will work together to insure that high standards and efficiency are maintained. Directly supervises front desk, and has overall responsibility for the smooth operations of the front desk.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $19.25/hr
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Function as the team lead for the Front Desk staff and insure they are providing the required guest service according to brand standards and National Park Service standards.
  • Assists other departments when necessary and keeps management informed of hotel activities and problems.
  • Assists the management with requested administrative duties.
  • Check guests into cabins in a courteous, efficient manner while using the Property Management System.
  • Check guests out by accurately posting any necessary charges and payments in the Property Management System.
  • Book activities and dining reservations for non-resident guests.
  • Coordinates special requests; notifies Housekeeping and/or Maintenance Department of any items or complaints.
  • Coordinates with Housekeeping to insure rooms are ready for guests by check-in; notifies housekeeping of room status changes.
  • Provide guests with an orientation to the resort accurately answering their questions.
  • Assists guest with making arrangements for dining and activities in Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Jackson Hole area.
  • Attentively and politely respond to all guest concerns or complaints and follow up to insure the guest has received a satisfactory resolution.
  • Oversees billing issues and guest recovery refunds when necessary.
  • Answers all phone calls to front desk and transfers calls or takes messages.
  • Make walk-in reservations as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front desk area, back closet and lobby, including dusting, sweeping and refilling complimentary water station.
  • Balance cash drawer and turns in balanced cashier audit at end of shift.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year previous hotel experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Windows
  • Experience with Property Management Systems
  • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent people skills
