Salary: $18.00-$20.00/hour
Experienced Press Brake Operator
$18.00/hour | Hibbing, MN | Monday - ThursdayExpress Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator. The role will include reading blueprints and plans for finished products, making sure machines are working efficiently, and operating machines with safety. Safety is the number one priority for this company, so ideal candidates will have a record of safe work habits and an excellent eye for detail.
Scheduled 10-hour day shifts, working Monday - Thursday, with wage starting at $18 - $20/hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components
  • Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches
  • Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
  • Check height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments
  • Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake
  • Work with tight tolerances
  • Produce parts for assembly operations
  • Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements
  • Perform spot inspections of parts
  • Complete and maintain paperwork
  • Identify assembly parts
