Job Summary

The Grain Systems Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth through new business development, client relationship management, and closing sales across Summit’s grain systems and storage solutions.

This role generates new leads, follows up with prospective customers, conducts site visits, develops proposals, and closes profitable projects. The Sales Representative works closely with internal operations and project teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to execution while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the process.


Duties / Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through networking, prospecting, cold calling, and industry events
  • Proactively follow up on inbound and outbound leads
  • Conduct site visits and client consultations to assess needs and recommend solutions
  • Present grain system solutions clearly, emphasizing value and ROI
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Develop and deliver timely, accurate estimates and proposals
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements while maintaining profitability
  • Maintain accurate reporting and sales tracking through CRM tools
  • Follow up on all quotes and scope development opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure smooth project handoff
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships to generate repeat and referral business
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Experience with ClickUp, CAD, or B2W preferred


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel to job sites and client meetings
  • Ability to work outdoors during site visits
  • Ability to operate in varying weather conditions
