What is grain milling?

Grain milling is the process of grinding and processing cereal grains, such as wheat, corn, or rice, into flour or meal for use in food products. It involves cleaning the raw grains, removing impurities, and then using mechanical means to break them down into smaller particles. The resulting flour or meal is used in baking, cooking, and other food manufacturing processes. Grain milling can be performed on a small scale in mills or on a large scale in industrial facilities. The process ensures that grains are safe to eat and suitable for a wide variety of products.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Grain Miller, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Grain Miller, you need knowledge of grain types, milling processes, and quality standards, typically supported by on-the-job training or vocational education.
