Automotive Service Technician – Graff Kia of Chesterton

Graff Kia of Chesterton is hiring skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing team in Northwest Indiana. We are looking for dependable, productive technicians who take pride in their work, communicate well, and want to be part of a dealership that is building for the long term. At Graff, we are focused on creating a culture where top performers have the support, equipment, and opportunity to succeed.

As part of the Graff Auto Campus, you will be joining a fast-growing organization with strong leadership, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and access to the resources of a multi-store operation. This is a great opportunity for a technician who wants stability, professional growth, and the chance to work in a high-energy environment that values effort and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns efficiently and accurately
  • Conduct multipoint inspections and clearly communicate recommended repairs
  • Complete work in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work closely with advisors and team members to deliver a strong customer experience
  • Stay current on Kia training and repair procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive technician experience required
  • Kia experience is a plus, but not required
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Strong diagnostic ability and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset
  • Ability to produce efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
