REQUIREMENTS: Secondary (High School) graduation certificate or equivalent; 1 year to less than 2 years' experience; good communication skills in English.

HOURS:This position has a flexible schedule but successful applicant must be available to mix a blend of days, evenings, weekends and holidays. 

DUTIES: 

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food
  • Prepare dishes for Guests with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and safe food handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen helpers and student cooks
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work area

CREDENTIALS:

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate / Food Safety Certificate
  • Must be able to work in Canada legally
