Location: 4025 S 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

Schedule:Β 

  • Two shifts: 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Two shifts: 10:00am - 7:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Occasional Saturdays

Compensation: up to $27/hourΒ

About the RoleΒ 

Student Success CoordinatorsΒ are deeply student-centered, data-informed, and outcomes-driven. While this role has a primary functional focus onΒ retention andΒ certification,Β all coordinatorsΒ operateΒ as unified members of the Student Success team and share ownership of overall student outcomes.Β 

As a Student Succes Coordinator, you willΒ develop strong relationships with and support students from onboarding through graduation,Β buildingΒ strong, consistent relationships with students, proactively addressingΒ barriers to success, and drivingΒ outcomes related to retention, certification, and program completion.Β 

Key ResponsibilitiesΒ 

Performance & AccountabilityΒ 

  • Manage an active caseload of students and meet defined performance metrics, which may include retention and persistence, certification readiness and attainment, and graduation progressionΒ 

Student Engagement & AdvocacyΒ 

  • Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for assigned students throughout their academic journey, building rapport,Β trustΒ and accountabilityΒ 
  • Proactively engage students to identify and address academic and other barriers to persistence, certification readiness, and completionΒ 

Retention & Certification SupportΒ 

  • Drive retention and certification outcomes through early intervention, milestone tracking, and consistent follow-upΒ 
  • Support accommodation requests, resource referrals, and appropriate escalation as neededΒ 

Data, Documentation & ComplianceΒ 

  • Accurately documentΒ allΒ student interactions and outcomesΒ 
  • Participate in cohort tracking, G&E chart confirmation, and required audits in addition to weekly and monthly reporting on student success metricsΒ 

Events, Programming & CollaborationΒ 

  • Support,Β participateΒ in,Β and/orΒ facilitateΒ student successΒ events andΒ initiatives such as retention workshops, certification readiness activities, career fairs, and alumni events, collaborating with other departments as neededΒ 

Other DutiesΒ 

  • PerformΒ additionalΒ tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, including required onboarding and ongoing training related to student success systems, performance metrics, and operational processesΒ 

QualificationsΒ 

EducationΒ 

  • High School Diploma or GEDΒ requiredΒ 
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferredΒ 

ExperienceΒ Β 

  • 1-2 years of experience in student services, advising, career services, workforce development, recruiting, or a related support roleΒ 
  • 1 year of related experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferredΒ 

SkillsΒ 

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, andΒ written and verbal communication skills with a student-centered approachΒ 
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with shared accountabilityΒ 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systemsΒ 
  • A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work outside regular business hours and travel locally or overnight as neededΒ
