Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled or soon to be enrolled in a Graduate Degree seeking college program.

Applicable Majors:
Health Service Administration- Rising Stars gain administrative experience through working closely with our Executive Leadership Team to assist in the Support Services and Administrative Operations of the company. These operations include, but are not limited to:
  • Clinical Operations Support - Rising Stars may send documents to consumers, home care team members and callers with 100% accuracy to ensure HIPAA compliance. These documents include all clinical/medical record documentation, waiver applications and instructions.
  • Quality Improvement - Rising Stars assist with ensuring all assessments are uploaded to State system, research quality metrics, perform clinical intake audits.
  • Marketing - Rising Stars help to create a list of businesses in different segments to boost sales and marketing emails to produce monthly screensavers, update the website, assist with google analytics.
  • Human Resources - Rising Stars help with succession planning, working tickets, scheduling interviews, posting positions on social media, and facilitating relationships with University Career Placement Offices.
  • Business Development - Rising Stars work in a team coordinating Request for Proposals, Grant Writing, Accreditations and Contract Management.
  • Finance - Rising Stars majoring in finance can help with processing payroll, accounts payable and work with the Revenue Cycle Manager on billing for the many programs CareStar is involved.

Social Work - Rising Stars may assist Licensed Social Workers in assessment and case management services.
Psychology/Sociology - Rising Stars assist Recovery Managers and Assessors of the Specialized Recovery Services (SRS) Program. SRS works with individuals with severe persistent mental health needs and diagnosed chronic conditions.
Information Technology - Rising Stars assist with the HITRUST Assessment Report to ensure CareStar maintains our three-year certification, responding to tickets, equipment troubleshooting, implementing innovations (e.g., secure texting, e-signatures, e-interpreters, voice-to-text, etc.)
