The Project Manager II is responsible for leading and overseeing all phases of designated information technology projects and initiatives to maximize the organization's investment and to ensure that time, budget and project scope targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leads analysis of project opportunities to determine and document requirements; evaluate business cases, feasibility and alternatives; and assess the relative priority of the project.
• Develops and manages project plans, schedules, reports, success criteria and controls to track, monitor and report on project costs, timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitates all operational checkpoint activities and leads communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documents, assesses and resolves all high priority project risks and obstacles as they are encountered.
• Reviews, monitors, and provides guidance on development, testing and implementation plans and activities to ensure support of business requirements and adherence to project methodology standards.
Competencies Required:
• Strong leadership, facilitation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and achieve results through the efforts of others.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, system development and testing techniques, marketing and communication strategies, and banking operations, systems and regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrates an Agile mindset and understands the foundations of Agile.
• Demonstrated experience with SAFe scaled Agile Framework or Scrum Org Framework.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) with basic technical knowledge of SQL server data structures, Windows, and .Net framework.
• Exceptional organizational, process and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Strategic and problem solving mindset with developed analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
• 7-10 years' experience in the analysis, design, development or implementation of information technology solutions, systems, or products required.
• 5-7 years project and process management experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Scrum Master required.
Formal Education & Certification:
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field required.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Industry recognized project management certification required or 10 years' as a Project Manager
• Industry recognized scrum master certification required or 10 years' as a Scrum Master.
Additional Details
This is a full-time, exempt role based in The Woodlands, TX, with up to 10% travel expected. The position is considered essential for business continuity purposes and does not include direct supervisory responsibility.
