Position Summary...Join Walmart’s Plainfield, IN Central Fill Pharmacy team as a hourly (PRN) Staff Pharmacist and play a crucial role in optimizing our backend operations. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in a highly automated environment, ensuring efficient prescription processing and enabling retail pharmacies to focus on patient care.
About Central Fill Pharmacy Team:
The Central Fill Pharmacy team is at the forefront of automation and efficiency, processing prescriptions for multiple retail locations. Our purpose is to streamline backend operations, allowing retail pharmacies to dedicate more time to patient care. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be pivotal in maintaining high operational standards and ensuring seamless pharmacy services.
Shifts Available: Hourly role
2nd / Hours - 4pm - 2am (days will fluctuate)
3rd / Hours - 9pm - 7am (days will fluctuate).

  • Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy associates, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and track medication inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation and shrinkage control.
  • Perform visual verification of prescriptions for clinical and legal accuracy.
  • Adapt to changing production demands while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Obtain and renew necessary pharmacist permits, registrations, licenses, and training.
