Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena and the Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area.

Job Description:

The Reasons Nurse Program Manager assumes responsibility for facility daily operations. This includes supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff assigned to the Residential House, ensuring that patient care is provided in an accurate and timely manner. This position has responsibility for the supervision of care of patients with eating disorders and co-occurring diagnoses. The Program Manager is also responsible for ensuring that all medical record documentation is accomplished according to policy and regulatory agency standards in coordination with Clinical Director, Director of Operations and Director of Nursing. This position may provide direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assume responsibility for the complete facility operations and staff management.
  • Act a liaison between staff, patients and facility administration.
  • Assist Director of Nursing and Clinical Director in evaluation of the staff’s performance and participate in orientation of new staff.
  • Assist in implementing facility policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate patients/milieu acuity, report high acuity to the Director of Nursing.
  • Schedule staff assignments and program schedules according to acuity and budgetary guidelines.
