Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Initial Remote ( Locations: NJ/DC/VA)
Duration: Fulltime
ย 

Responsibilities
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Drive, negotiate and finalize various agreements in different jurisdictions, including sales, licensing, distribution, consultancy, services, NDAs and much more;
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice and recommendations on numerous legal and business issues;
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Provide legal advice regarding a wide variety of legal matters to the company's different departments (Sales, Product, R&D, MIS, IT)
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Monitor and provide guidance on data privacy and other applicable laws and regulations;
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Create and maintain standard templates, business processes and internal policies to help scale the business
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Interface with and manage support from outside counsel as needed.
Requirements/Experience: ย  ย  ย  ย  ย 
ย ย  ย Juris Doctorate - Graduate from accredited law school
ย ย  ย 5-7 years working experience within a technology company (either leading law firm or a tech company)
ย ย  ย Commercial counsel only
ย ย  ย Experience working with government (i.e. federal) customers and familiar with FAR and DFAR Provisions
ย ย  ย Working knowledge of: licensing and privacy and data protection laws (trademark/patent law knowledge an advantage)
ย ย  ย Negotiation skills with external and internal stakeholders
ย ย  ย Prior global business working experienceย
