Job description

Position Description
Provide office services by implementing administrative systems, and procedures. Monitors administrative projects for faculty and staff in the assigned academic area.
Major/Essential Functions
  • Assist and coordinate with the Graduate Advisor to ensure ECE Department graduate program policy, guidelines, and procedures are met and followed.
  • Understand and follow TTU Graduate School system and policies for recruitment and admissions. Stay up to date with these policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and documented records for all graduate students to include but not limited to: degree plans, thesis proposals, thesis defenses, dissertation defenses.
  • Review graduation requirements for graduate students to ensure all requirements are met and adhere to TTU Graduate School and ECE department policy.
  • Coordinate with the Office of International Affairs as needed to assist with international student admissions and information.
  • Assign coupon codes for admission fees as needed and/or directed by Graduate Advisor.
  • Collaborate with Department Chair and Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies to coordinate, plan, and schedule graduate courses for the ECE Department.
  • Other assigned duties as needed by Department Chair and/or Graduate Advisor.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
