Job description

Provide general assistance with the daily operations for one of the Summer Day Camp with duties assigned by the Camp Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
  1. Complies with regulations as required by local health code.
  1. Assists in the implementation of various programs and activities.
  1. Maintains accurate daily records as well as sustain sanitary conditions.
  1. Performs related work as required.

Minimum Entrance Qualifications:
  1. Ability to work flexible hours.
  1. Applicants must be at least 14 years of age.
  1. Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the position.

Providence residency is required.
Seasonal Position - BCI check required for 18+ applicant.
Start: early July 2026
End: end of August 2026
Providence Department of Parks and Recreation will hire Providence youth this summer to operate lunch program sites, camps, pools and water parks across the city. All summer employment candidates must be at least 14 years old as of July 1, 2026, and must apply online.
