Description du poste

Sous la supervision de la Dre Saima Hassan, l’éudiant(e) de maitrise/doctorat travaillera dans son laboratoire translationel dédié au cancer du sein.  Les projets de recherche à la Dre Hassan visent à mieux comprendre l’efficacité des inhibiteurs de PARP, comme agents en combinaison sequentielle, dans les lignes cellulaires de cancer et les souris. L’objectif sera de mieux identifier les combinaisons strategiques avec les inhibiteurs de PARP. Les autres projets incluent l’impacte de dommages d’ADN et la reponse immunitaire, et les biopsies liquides pour la detection en cancer du sein. Responsabilités

·    Apprendre les compétences dans les techniques de laboratoire, incluant le culture cellulaire, maintien de lignées cellulaires, immunohistochémie, immunofluorescence, western blot, manipulation des souris. Le projet peut inclure la consentement des patientes, et collecte de données pour le patientes.

·    Analyse de données et gestion de projets

·    Rédaction de résumés, de posters/présentations pour des conférences et de manuscrits en anglais.

·    Collaborateur et respectueux des membres du laboratoire, dynamique, efficace, honnête et professionnel

·    Être motivé et avoir un intérêt marqué pour le cancer

·    Flexible, soucieux du travail bien fait, indépendant, attentif aux détails, très organisé.


Qualifications

·      Collaboratif avec respecte pour d’autres membres de l’equipe, dynamique, efficace, honnête et professional

·      Flexibilité, souci du travail bien fait, sens de l’organisation et de la planification du travail

·      Motivé à lire la littérature pour mieux comprendre et optimiser les résultats

·      Espirit de synthèse, autonomie, forte capacité de redaction, capacité de travailler en équipe

·      D’être compétitif pour les demandes de bourses FRQS/IRSC sera un atout

·      Bonne connaissance du français et de l'anglais
