Creekside High School is looking to hire an Assistant Football Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This is a part-time stipend position.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive Football program that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
-Assist in planning and leading football practices and team meetings.
-Assist in coordinating and attending all Football events, including games, competitions, and community performances.
-Collaborate with school administrators, athletic directors, and other coaches to ensure the success of the Football program.
-Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and boosters regarding team activities, schedules, and expectations.
-Assist in managing eligibility and administrative policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
-Previous coaching experience in Football, preferably at the high school level.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Commitment to promoting a positive team culture and fostering the personal development of student-athletes.
-Required Certification in CPR, First Aid, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion, and Heat Illness
-Willingness to adhere to all school and athletic department policies and procedures.

Florida law requires all Athletic Coaches to hold either a valid Florida Educator Certificate or a valid Athletic Coaching Certificate. The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates. The Three-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate is issued to provide time to complete the Five-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate requirements. An additional Athletic Coaching Certificate is not required for individuals who hold a valid Florida Educator's Certificate.
Certifications & Licenses: Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, and Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
