Job description

Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility: To assist the Head Coach in the daily activities related to the Men's Basketball Team.
Under the general direction of Athletic Director
Under the direct supervision of Men's Head Basketball Coach responsible for 20 hours per week during the current school semester
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head and Assistant Coaches with the daily activities of the Men's Basketball Team, including daily instruction, pre-season conditioning, pre and post season weight program, Individual player workouts. Monitor all academic progress
2. Recruiting year round, attending High School, Junior College games and tournaments. Developing a recruiting base with these contacts
3. Work basketball camps during the summer, establish a data base of camp teams and contacts
4. Assistant coach with our Developmental Team, Coach and Drive Van's on away trips. Keep accurate records of each game using a score book
5. Maintain All equipment with both Developmental Teams Varsity Teams
6. Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
