We are currently seeking a skilled Grader Operator to join our team. The Grader Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to ensure the proper grading and leveling of surfaces on construction sites. This role requires leadership skills, precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of grading techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Operation: Operate motor graders with precision and expertise to grade surfaces according to project specifications and blueprints.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Perform routine maintenance on motor graders, including cleaning, lubricating, and reporting any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of grading work to meet project requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other construction team members, including equipment operators, laborers, and supervisors.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues or challenges that may arise during grading activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily equipment inspection reports and work logs.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Motor Grader Operator in heavy civil construction.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining motor graders.
  • Knowledge of construction and grading techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform the demands of the job.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
