High-paced, collaborative team performance with the emphasis on critical thinking and decision-making with guidance from program supervisor/manager. Climate controlled offices with frequent exposure to clients. Some programs may require traveling within Hillsborough County via personal or agency vehicle to facilitate in-home client services in a variety of socioeconomic neighborhoods.
Responsibilities: Provide respite, advocacy, training of developmental life assets, and mentoring services to children/adolescents. Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and reports to the unit/department supervisor. Complete all documentation based on established timelines as per program requirements.
Provides responsible activities with consistent supervision to consumers and their families. Development of service plans, treatment plans and/or aftercare plans with clear goals and objectives as per program requirements. Keep direct supervisor informed at all times of relevant consumer and family issues.
Meets with clinical case manager and family to establish specific details for implementing home and community based rehabilitative and respite services. Maintains confidentiality and remains calm under stress. Assist staff with support in all areas of functional responsibility in a courteous, supportive manner.
Maintains and exhibits servant leadership qualities and exceeds customers' expectations. Requirements: Associate's Degree in Human Services related field or high school graduate with one (1) year experience with adolescents in a clinical or recreational setting.
