Job Description: GPS/Surveyor (Trimble)
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced GPS/Surveyor (Trimble) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land and site surveys using Trimble GPS technology and related instruments. This role involves field data collection, modeling, analysis, setting grades and reporting for engineering, construction, or environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field surveys and gather data using Trimble GPS equipment.
  • Process, analyze, and interpret survey data using specialized software.
  • Prepare accurate models, maps, setting grades, and documentation to support project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver survey results.
  • Must have experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting Trimble GPS equipment.
  • Update survey records and databases with relevant information.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Proficiency in using Trimble GPS systems, data collectors, and related software.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and maps.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
