GPI has numerous interesting and challenging projects involving all types of roadway, bridge, intersection, and trail designs. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects for clients such as the Delaware Department of Transportation and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
  • Build effective client relationships by working collaboratively with the client.
  • Review and apply standards and other guidance to transportation applications.
  • Prepare and implement solutions that are responsive to project needs.
  • Complete tasks within the assigned schedule and budget.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
  • Proficiency with technical writing.
  • Ability to create comprehensive and creative solutions to transportation problems.
  • Ability to work proficiently in a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in all aspects of Highway Engineering preferred.
  • Engineer-in-Training Certification.
  • PE licensure preferred.
  • Experience working on DelDOT and/or MDOT SHA projects preferred.
  • Experience in all aspects of roadway design preferred.
  • Experience with MicroStation and InRoads/ORD preferred.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
