Job description

Go Vocal, a global govtech scale-up, is looking for a purpose-driven Account Executive (NorthAm) to help grow our client base across the US and Canada. If you care deeply about strengthening democracy and love working with the public sector, this role is for you.
You'll be a key driver of our growth in the US and Canada, signing new cities, and shaping our presence in the region.
What will be your role?
Grow our client base
  • Develop a deep understanding of local government challenges and build trust as a partner, not just a vendor.
  • Own the full sales cycle for local governments, from self-sourcing to demo to close.
  • Source leads through outbound outreach, referrals, and public sector events.

Collaborate cross-functionally
  • Work closely with our NorthAm team to grow the market (Sales & Government Success)
  • Feed back market insights to our global team (Marketing & Product)
  • Drive tender processes with our Operations team

What you bring
  • 2-3 years of experience or affinity with the public sector - sales experience is a plus, but drive matters more than experience
  • A hunter's mindset: your are hungry to sell and self-motivated
  • A consultative approach: structured, organized, comfortable with longer sales cycles
  • A strong communicator who builds trust quickly
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven team
