Job description


The Pricing Analyst supports competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals. The Pricing Analyst analyzes data from multiple sources, develops complex pricing models, and collaborates with sales and marketing to develop sales strategies. This position has accountability for administering and maintaining pricing booklets in the system of record.
The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Analyzes pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends, competitor considerations, and recommends price points to decision-makers
  • Analyzes profitability of pricing agreements and recommends actions
  • Audits, managers, and enters pricing books into system of record
  • Identifies ideal pricing structures and sales funnels
  • Applies statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.

What You'll Need for Success:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience as a pricing analyst
  • In-depth applied knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Experience analyzing pricing strategies, forecasting revenue and market shares, and collaborating with sales and marketing departments.
