As a Junior Technical Writer, you will create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that helps employees understand business processes, systems, and products. You will work closely with business partners, subject matter experts, and other technical writers to gather information and develop content that supports day-to-day operations, training, and knowledge sharing. Successful candidates are curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. They enjoy asking questions, organizing information, and creating content that helps others perform their jobs more effectively. This role offers opportunities to develop technical writing, communication, and business analysis skills while working collaboratively with experienced team members and stakeholders.

  • Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $65,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Gather technical information from business partners and existing resources to develop relevant documentation recommendations based on business needs.
  • Translate technical, operational, and business concepts into clear, concise content for a variety of audiences.
  • Review existing documentation and recommend updates to improve accuracy, clarity, and usability.
  • Follow established documentation standards, templates, and style guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings, knowledge sessions, and walkthroughs to understand business processes and documentation needs.
  • Create basic visual aids, such as process flows, to support written documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to review content and ensure consistency across documentation.
  • Proofread and edit documentation for grammar, formatting, readability, accessibility and compliance with established standards.
  • Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and communicating progress to stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 1-3 years of technical writing, business documentation, training documentation, communications, or related experience
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to organize information and communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to developing technical writing skills
  • Experience collaborating with teammates and/or business partners
  • Experience with documentation and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Visio, Draw.io, or similar platforms preferred
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
