Job description

If you have experience in sell-side equity research, investment banking, or buy-side analysis, this could be the perfect fit! ExamWorks is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to join the team.

We are ideally looking for a candidate in the Atlanta, GA area due to the high preference of working in-office most days.  

The Head of Investor Relations (IR) is responsible for developing and executing the company’s investor relations strategy, and serving as a primary interface between the company, the investment community, and the broader financial markets. Reporting directly to the CFO and partnering closely with executive leadership, the Head of IR will help shape the company’s equity story, support guidance communications, manage relationships with institutional investors and sell-side analysts, and promote transparent and consistent communication with shareholders and the market. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

  • Lead preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including earnings releases, presentations, scripts, and Q&A materials. 
  • Support the CFO and CEO in the development of the company’s quarterly and annual guidance and communication of the company’s guidance philosophy.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of earnings calls and related investor communications. 
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging across all external communications. 
  • Advise senior leadership on investor sentiment, market perceptions, valuation dynamics, and shareholder expectations. 
  • Coordinate non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, analyst meetings, and investor days. 
  • Manage relationships with covering analysts and support efforts to expand research coverage over time. 
  • Analyze ownership trends, shareholder composition, and trading activity. 
  • Identify and target high-quality long-term investors. 
  • Maintain detailed understanding of consensus estimates and key investor concerns. 
  • Benchmark disclosure against other relevant public companies. 
  • Prepare materials for Board meetings regarding shareholder feedback, market performance, valuation trends, and investor engagement.
  • Support ESG, governance, and shareholder engagement initiatives, where applicable. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years experience of sell-side equity research, investment banking, OR buy-side analyst experience, preferably within the healthcare services or business services sector
  • Must have strong financial modeling and valuation knowledge with excellent diligence and attention to detail. 
  • Must have the ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information into a compelling investment narrative.
  • Must demonstrate strong and effective communication and presentation skills by creating and conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
