Position Location
This position is located in Blackstone, VA and is contingent upon contract award.
Job Overview
The primary duty and responsibility is to prepare and enforce the Quality Control Program. The Quality Control Quality Assurance Lead inspects work in progress and finished work for discrepancies in accordance with the Quality Control Plan and completes necessary inspection reports and documentation required to support findings.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
  • Provides a method statement detailing how they set up and run a QC/QA Department.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains Quality Control (QC) for the contract and ensures compliant performance.
  • Develops a QC Plan that includes methods to measure, track, analyze, report performance trends, root cause analysis of deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and provide follow up.
  • Maintains inspection documents accessible at any time by the Government, and submits quality control metrics.
  • Provides analyses including corrective or preventive actions and results and submits proposed corrective action to bring performance to established metrics and standards.
  • Meets regularly with the Government as necessary and prepares minutes of the performance evaluation meetings.
  • Reviews and audits QC programs annually.
  • Ensures contract QC and contract performance review.
  • Conducts inspections of all contract functions to ensure compliance with the SOW.
  • Performs customer feedback analysis to determine level of quality for the services provided.
  • Maintains a master policy file and monitors Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Reviews staff actions to ensure they are in compliance with the QC Plan.
  • Acts as a liaison between local, state, and federal authorities on all quality issues.
  • Performs quality inspections and works with Government QC inspectors, writes reports and conducts quality control analysis.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for Government quality assurance visits and responses.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
  • Bachelor's Degree in the facilities management discipline.
  • Shall have a strong working knowledge of O&M operations and the different systems in large buildings.
  • Must have experience working in an RCM program and the different methods of non-destructive testing.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years in major Industrial complex or construction projects working in the QC/QA Department.
  • A minimum of five (5) years working as Quality Control / Quality Assurance Lead.
  • Possess a Secret clearance.
