Actualmente buscamos un Instalador de Tubería Subterráneas para unirse a nuestro equipo de Operaciones en proyectos de construcción en el área de Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. El responsable de este puesto se encarga de instalar tuberías para drenajes sanitarios o pluviales, desagües y conductos principales de agua. Realiza cualquier combinación de las siguientes tareas: nivelar zanjas o alcantarillas, colocar tuberías o sellar juntas en la obra de un proyecto con el fin de producir trabajo de calidad de forma segura, dentro de los requisitos del proyecto, el presupuesto estimado, el cronograma, y en alineación con la Misión, Visión y Valores de RQ.

Pago: $15-18ph, paquete integral de beneficios

Educación y Experiencia

  • Se requiere como mínimo diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente (GED).
  • Es muy deseable contar con uno o dos años (o equivalente) de experiencia en trabajo de campo o en el sector de servicios públicos subterráneos; se prefiere experiencia en construcción gubernamental, militar o comercial a gran escala. Se prefiere experiencia en el sector de diseño-construcción.
  • Se requieren certificaciones de RCP, Primeros Auxilios, OSHA de 30 horas, EM-385 y STS. Se puede proporcionar capacitación.

We are currently seeking an Underground Pipe Layer to join our Field Operations team for construction projects in the Aguadilla, Puerto Rico area. This position is responsible for lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. Perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

  • A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.
  • One to two years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in the underground utility industry highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design-build industry is preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required; Training can be provided.
