Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Project Manager to assist with our projects in Columbus, Ohio! 
  • Lead and prepare transportation design plans and 3D models for ODOT, LPA, and municipal roadway projects.
  • Oversee organization of all local government transportation projects, lead the group of project managers pursuing local government projects. 
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with local governments across Ohio, manage project pursuits and project management activities.
  • Lead the entire local projects group as the company expands its portfolio of local government transportation projects across the state of Ohio.
  • Perform and check a variety of design calculations, including drainage design, quantities, maintenance of traffic, and pavement design.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior staff, helping them grow their design and project skills.
  • Collaborate with teams across offices, supporting ODOT projects and other multi-disciplinary initiatives as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering
  • EIT certification required; PE license or active pursuit of PE preferred
  • 5-9 years of relevant experience in roadway or transportation design
  • Proficiency in MicroStation required; AutoCAD experience highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ODOT standards and experience preparing plans for DOT and municipal clients
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
