Job description

Overview
We are seeking a experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrators to provide expert-level support for Oracle database environments. This role includes development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases, as well as integration with enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support for Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist users in creating and managing Oracle databases and resolving related application issues.
  • Respond to Requests for Change (RFCs) and FootPrints tickets related to Oracle database support.
  • Write PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and scripts for database access and performance optimization.
  • Design and implement logical and physical Oracle database structures.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance; apply patches, upgrades, and security updates.
  • Maintain documentation for Oracle data models, dictionaries, and configurations.
  • Support integration with applications such as SharePoint and other enterprise tools.
  • Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Plan and implement high-performance, distributed data indexing and search solutions.

Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with Oracle RDBMS and related technologies.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and Oracle Grid Infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, database theory, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Oracle on Linux/Solaris platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle services and AWS RDS is a plus.
  • Experience with messaging and interoperability technologies (e.g., Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ) is a plus.

The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
