Job description

Akima Global Technology is looking for a Multimedia and Printers Technician to work at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
  • The Contractor shall install, perform remedial repairs, and execute scheduled preventative hardware and software maintenance (e.g., Sony Analog / Digital Video Editing Equipment, Audio Visual Technical Support (projectors, screens, TV's), Audio/Video Editing Stations, Video Teleconferencing Systems and Crestron control systems).
  • The Contractor shall install, perform remedial repairs, and execute scheduled preventative hardware and software maintenance on audio equipment (e.g., Crown, Biamp, Klipch, Atlas, Evi, TOA, Sony speaker systems, Audio Technica and Sennheiser microphones, portable audio, and public address systems).
  • The Contractor shall utilize the NASIC trouble ticket tracking system to document, track, and account for all work performed.
  • The contractor shall monitor the daily event logs for hardware failure
  • The contractor shall install OEM firmware, software updates, and patches for the control system and AV switching routing.
  • The contractor shall provide troubleshooting and support for televisions experiencing issues receiving or displaying the base-provided cable television service.
  • The contractor shall provide installation and integration of cabling, amplifiers, equalizers, taps and splitters.
  • The contractor shall assist the Government Task Manager in updating architectural diagrams and documentation of all installations/changes in accordance with NASIC guidance.
  • The contractor shall provide inventory and accountability support for all IPCIII conference rooms in accordance with DAFMAN 17-1203 with minimal supervision.
  • The contractor shall provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned for next month and important issues occurring during the month.
  • The contractor shall follow and contribute to all local SOPs and related knowledge management documentation in accordance with NASIC guidance.
  • The contractor shall provide customer-oriented support to diagnose, resolve, and maintain printers, multi-function devices (MFDs), plotters, 3D printers, and flatbed.

Qualifications
  • Possess & maintain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification as required by Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1303, Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, and DoD 8570.01-M.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI.
