This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Overview

The role of Data Entry Operator II includes: Operating a data entry device to record or verify a variety of standard, coded, or encoded business and statistical source data into a computer. Searching, interpreting, and selecting coding items in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Operates keyboard-controlled data entry devices such as computer, key-operated magnetic tape, or disc encoder to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing.
  • Operates an alphanumeric keyboard and transcribes procedures and relevant data entry equipment.
  • Works under close supervision and follows specific procedures or detailed instructions.
  • Works from various standardized source documents that have been coded.
  • Performs other related work as assigned.

  • Harmoniously working with other employees and customers.
  • Working with the Project Principals to fully coordinate all activities.
  • Effectively coordinate several projects simultaneously.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Two (2) years of clerical and data entry computer experience.
* Intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Office, and database programs.
* Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
* U.S. Citizenship.
* Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

Preferred:

* Use of Microsoft Office 365 environment experience
* Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Sharepoint/Planner/TEAMS

Working Conditions:

* This is an office environment

Physical Requirements:

* This role is largely sedentary
