Position Summary

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Services Generalist will be responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties, while providing a high level of customer service and support. 

What will you do in this role?

  • Serve as a Front Desk Liaison (i.e., greet visitors, answer phone company wide, screen and direct calls, reserve conference rooms).
  • Sort and distribute incoming and interoffice mail, receive guests/packages from the lobby, and maintain visitor registration.
  • Assist in processing mail and packages (i.e., regular mail, express and overnight courier packs) and delivery to post office/mailbox.
  • Stock, organize, maintain, and clean hoteling spaces, supply rooms, pantries, break rooms, and coffee stations.
  • Responsible for conference room set up/clean up, including monitoring conference room schedule.
  • Manage Calendar and data entry.
  • Assist with moving boxes and light inter-office moves.
  • Prepare offices and workstations for new hires.
  • Assist with general appearance of office, compiling checklist for maintenance issues, and placing maintenance requests with vendors and building management.
  • Provide backup admin support for service lines.
  • Respond to customer/client issues/problems in a timely manner.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • High School diploma, required; college degree, preferred plus one (1) or more years of recent experience in a Public Accounting firm or other professional services firm, a plus
  • Prior work experience in an administrative support role, required; prior office services and customer service experience, preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational and follow-through skills with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Capable of prioritizing, planning, and organizing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to lift to 30 lbs. without assistance

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the base compensation range for this role is Min $21.49 - Mid $29.03 - Max $36.57 an hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for roles in our Government Services pillar are determined by contract with the specific government agency Sikich is servicing.
